Indigo flight faces technical glitch before take-off, alert pilot notices last minute

Bhopal, Jul 30: Passengers on board a Mumbai-bound Indigo flight were deboarded when the pilot raised an alarm regarding a technical glitch in the wheels of the aircraft. The last minute decision by the pilot helped over 155 passengers escape a catastrophe. The incident took place here at the Raja Bhoj airport. Fortunately, all the passengers were confirmed to be safe.

Indigo Bhopal station manager, Ekta Shrivastava stated that the reason for calling off the take-off of flight 6E983 was the quick thinking on the part of the pilot who detected the technical glitch in the aircraft wheels.

Passengers on board the flight were petrified as the plane was in motion when it came to a sudden halt. The incident is said to have taken place between 6.30 pm and 6.45 pm according to one of the passengers.
