Omar seeks CBI probe into 'fake orders' on social media

Srinagar, Jul 30 (IANS): Reacting to Jammu and Kashmir Governor Satya Pal Malik's comment that orders being circulated on the social media were fake, former Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Tuesday demanded a CBI probe into the matter.

Malik, while commenting on the 'orders' being attributed to government officials which are being circulated on social media, told reporters that these orders were "invalid and everything was fine and normal in the state".

Reacting to this, Omar Abdullah tweeted, "This is a very serious matter raised by the Governor. Fake orders were circulated under the signature of senior government officers. This is not something that can be dismissed with a simple sound byte. The CBI must be asked to investigate these fake orders and their origin".
