New Delhi, Jul 30 (IANS): Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) Chairperson Swati Maliwal on Tuesday urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP President J.P. Nadda to sack the Unnao rape accused BJP MLA from the BJP and the Uttar Pradesh Assembly.

The MLA, Kuldeep Singh Sengar, along with his aides is accused of gangraping the girl who is now battling for life in a Lucknow hospital after a truck hit a car in which she was travelling along with two aunts and her lawyer.

Both the women were killed in the accident while the lawyer is also in critical condition.

"The minor girl had been gang-raped by Senger along with his aides. The Uttar Pradesh Police refused to register an FIR for over one year. Instead her father was arrested and assaulted by the brother and supporters of Sengar in police custody," she said.

In her letter, the DCW Chairperson said how the rape victim attempted to immolate herself in front of the residence of the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh and a day later, her father died in a hospital of injuries inflicted in police custody.

Maliwal said the road accident "was a clear conspiracy to eliminate the witnesses and her family".

"The lawyer who stood by her and tried to support her is presently even in a worse condition than the girl," Maliwal said.

She expressed shock at the "brute display of apathy by the Bharatiya Janata Party by not only ensuring that the MLA stays a prominent member of BJP but constantly safeguarding his membership of the UP Assembly, thereby allowing him to subvert the justice process at every juncture.

"Despite mounting evidence against the MLA, he continued to be in power and therefore enjoys unadulterated clout over the police, jail, hospital authorities and the entire Uttar Pradesh administration. It is this patronage of the BJP that has enabled him to unabashedly ravage the lives of the rape victim and her family."

    Owner of a truck that hit Unnao rape survivor’s car belongs to the same district as BJP MLA Kuldeep Sengar.

    The Unnao rape survivor, her lawyer Mahendra Singh Chauhan and two aunts were expected to leave for Delhi after handing over “all documents” concerning the case to her uncle, who is lodged in a Rae Bareli jail in a separate case. The four had left their Unnao residence for Rae Bareli Sunday. Around 1 pm, their white Maruti Swift collided head-on with a truck, which mysteriously had a black-painted number plate, in Gurubakshganj area of Rae Bareli.

    The rape survivor and Chauhan are on life support at a Lucknow hospital, while the two aunts died in the accident.

    This remediate attempt to murder running over a vehicle just kills the rape accused and steal all the evidence that they are carrying it to handover to her uncle.

    For BJP only 355 cases of Muslim 'Triple Talaq' is important. The Unnao and Kathua rape cases draw attention to the fact that India remains largely unsafe for women.

    There are 106 Rapes reported Per Day, 4 in 10 Victims Minors. The rape victim in critical life support has already lost her father in police custody. For this lady and the rest of India ' SelfieWithDaughter' remembered as another sad day.

    But for PM Modi who launched 'Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao' looks busy in an upcoming promotion video for 'Man vs Wild' shot on the fateful day in which 49 soldiers died on Pulwama attack.

    For BJP neither soldiers of Pulwama attack nor daughter Unnao hardly matters. All that they need is 'Operation Kamala' to rule India forever to create 'Hindu Rashtra' were fate women is uncertain.

    The Unnao rape survivor had written to the Chief Justice of India, Ranjan Gogoi, on 12 July stating that she was being threatened to “compromise” in the case as the “judge would be bought for a price and Sengar will be bailed out”.

    The letter was addressed to the CJI around 15 days before the deadly car accident at Rae Bareli Sunday evening that killed two of her aunts.
    According to letter, at around 9 am on 7 July, the brothers of Sengar and his associate Manoj Singh and three others related to another of the MLA’s aides, Shashi Singh, had threatened her that a “judge would be bought by us and will ensure bail for Kuldeep and Shashi. Thereafter, false cases would be lodged against you and all of you will rot in the jail”.

    The CBI took over the investigation in the case in April 2018 and filed four separate FIRs.

    While one was a case of rape of a minor based on the survivor’s complaint, another was on the assault and death of her father in police custody. A third case was filed on a cross-complaint by the MLA’s brother alleging assault by the rape survivor’s relatives. The fourth case relates to her being allegedly gang-raped by three men, including Shashi Singh’s son. The charge sheets have been filed in the first two cases.
