Man arrested with FICN, improvised firearms in Kolkata


Kolkata, Aug 1 (IANS): The special task force of the Kolkata Police has seized fake Indian currency notes (FICN) of the total face value of Rs 14,000, semi-finished improvised firearms and arrested one person, according to an officer on Wednesday.

Based on the information, the cops arrested Akhtar Kajmi, a resident of the Munger district of Bihar, from Dufferin Road on Tuesday.

Seven Rs 2000 fake notes and six semi-finished improvised 7 mm firearms were seized from his possession, he added.
