Thai ladyboys steal Indian man's necklace in Pattaya


Bangkok, Aug 2 (IANS) An Indian businessman has been robbed of his gold necklace worth Rs 1,20,000 by a gang of Thai ladyboys in Pattaya's Soi 6, one of the more notorious parts of the city's famous nightlife.

Aman Preet Bagga, 37, told the police that he was out with friends strolling around the bar area in Soi 6 when his group was accosted by a three ladyboys who "groped" them whilst offering them "sexual services", The Thaiger reported.

Bagga said that his group declined their offers and later when he checked his personal items, he realized that his necklace had been stolen.

The group tried to find the ladyboys but weren't able to locate them.

Police Captain Maneerat Jansanthia that the Pattaya police were checking CCTV footage in the area to locate the thieves.
