Haryana reviews security after abolition of Article 370


Chandigarh, Aug 5 (IANS): Haryana Chief Secretary Keshni Anand Arora, here on Monday, reviewed the safety and security measures after the Centre abolished Article 370 of the Constitution and issued directions to maintain law and order situation in the state.

Additional Chief Secretary (Home) Navraj Sandhu, directed Divisional Commissioners, Deputy Commissioners and Superintendents of Police (SPs) to ensure safety and security of people from J&K, particularly students studying in various parts of the state.

The law enforcement agencies have been placed on high alert to pre-empt any breach of security and public order.
