Bahrain, Jun 15: U T Khader, MLA of Karnataka Assembly, who was in Bahrain for Kudlothasava 2009 celebrations, met members of Dakshina Kannada Muslim welfare association at Oriental Palace Hotel for a get together. K A Razaq of Metelco and president of the association welcomed U T Khader at the hotel entrance and introduced to all the members and their guests and requested Khader to be on the dais.

K A Razaq garlanded and gave away the memento to Khader and thanked him for accepting the invitation.

Khader in his speech appreciated the works undertaken the by the association, such as helping the poor children for their education in Mangalore especially Muslims living in rural. He also praised the association helping poor Muslim girls for arranging marriages.

Jamaluddin Vittal, president of Dakshina Karnataka Sunni Centre, Bahrain, B A Razak of Al Madina Association along with Kukkady A Khader Abbas, Abbas Uchil, M Sathar and Ismail presented flower bouquets and mementos to U T Khader.
