Houston, Jun 15: A party was hosted to felicitate the new high school graduates Chris Pinto, Gail Pereira and Nikkita Lobo by the Houston Mangaloreans on Saturday June 13. A large number of Mangalorean community families were present.
After a thanksgiving prayer led by Anand Pinto, the new graduates cut the cake. The new graduates took turns to thank The God Almighty, their parents and friends.
Various games were conducted for both adults and children by Maureen Fernandes. A game of Housie-Housie was conducted and numerous prizes were won. Choicest brands of liquor and delicious food were laid out. The party went on till the wee hours the next day, as the gathering went on singing and dancing to the tunes of popular English, Konkani and Hindi songs played by DJ Chris.
