Dubai: ‘Ranga Siri Utsava–2009’ at Al Nasr Leisureland on June 26

Dubai, Jun 15: ‘Dhwani Prathisthana’, UAE, will present ‘Ranga Siri Utsava–2009’ at 4.30 pm on Friday June 26, at Nashwan Hall, Al Nasr Leisureland, here. It is being organized by chief co-ordinator Prakash Rao Payyar and organizing committee of Dhwani Pratisthana, UAE.
Karnataka Natak Academy director Dr B V Rajaram, Kannada poet Jaraganahalli Shivashankar, as well as philosopher and Vachana litterateur Dr C Somashekar will be the chief guests.
‘Odakalu Bimba’, Kannada play by renowned playwright Girish Karnad and directed by Prakash Rao Payyar will be staged on the occasion.
National award winning Kannada movie director Nagabharana and group will present ‘Rangageethegalu’, an extravaganza of Kannada music and Naginibharana will present Kuchupudi dance on the same occasion.
