MMS, Advani Make up, Apologize Each Other over Hurtful Remarks

New Delhi, Jun 17: On Board Air India One, June 17 (IANS) Putting months of bitterness in the run up to elections behind, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh Wednesday said he and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader L.K. Advani had apologised to each other over "hurtful" remarks.

"I was compelled to reply to what Advani said," Manmohan Singh replied when asked whether he had forgiven Advani for calling him a "weak prime minister".

"On May 16 when he (Advani) telephoned me, he told me that he was hurt by some of my statements. He said he was hurt and regretted his statements," Manmohan Singh added.

Having put the bitterness behind them, the prime minister said he looked forward to working with Advani, who is the leader of opposition.

"I apologised to him if I have hurt him. I am looking forward to a close relationship with the leader of opposition."

This is my kind request to all Indians whereever they are today.     We should be fortunate that our county is in the safe hands like Dr.Manmohan and his excellent team.Never forger he is the main architect of present Vibrant Booming India.Instead of recognising all his achievements and the progress India has done,our "Beloved" ADVANIJI is critising/pinpointing his decision making abailities.Better late than never Mr.Advani has realised his mistake and shook hands with our PM.

    We Indians should be proud of our beloved PM Dr Manmohan Singh. He is a statesman par excellence who is hailed world over as the highly qualified, mature and a decision maker at the right time. May God grant him good health to lead us for many more years. What a magnanimous gesture to extend the hand of friendship to the leader of the opposition!!!     This shows the greatness of MMS and he has taken LKA''s criticism in true professional way. LKA has taken it as too personal. MMS is a leader with qualities of forgiving his critics. No doubt he is inclusive. The so called 2nd generation leaders of BJP must take MMS as their role model. To this advice Mr Modi could not be an exception. Long Live MMS and long live India

    Mr. Advani knew that Dr. Manmohan Singh is a strongest leader and great decision maker India has ever seen, however it was the part of his strategy to mislead the voters. He thought that he can fool the people by calling MMS the weakest prime minister, which boomeranged. Dr. MMS has shown his gentlemanly quality by forgiving LKA, which augmented his personality and diminished LKA’s. We look forward for many great leaders like you DR. MMS.

    Two great leaders from Two opposing National Parties teaching their followers and fans a lesson of forgiveness and broadmindedness. Together they have to build India a Economic and Military Super Power. Can our C.M. Sri Yediurappa and our new opposition Leader Sri Siddaramaiah, build Karnataka a Economically and Culturally Stronger State? That we have to see. If they refrain from Operation Kamala and Hand, And give more priority to Infrastructural developement, agriculture, aqua culture, Floriculture, try to strengthen Basic necessities for the people, then it is possible.
