Mangaluru, Aug 10: An MoU between Mangalore University and NITTE (deemed to be university) was signed on August 9 by the registrars of both the universities.

The MoU was signed at Syndicate Hall administrative block- Mangalore University and the details of the same are as below:

1. The MoU is entered by both parties for mutual benefits in the field of academic education, research and related aspects.

2. The main parties present for signing on behalf of Mangalore University were: Dr P S Yadapadithaya- vice chancellor, Dr A M Khan- registrar and Dr H M Somashekarappa coordinator, Medical Physics Division.

3. The main parties present for signing on behalf of NITTE (deemed to be university) were: Dr Satheesh Kumar Bhandary, vice chancellor, Dr Alka Kulkarni- registrar, Major Dr Shiv Kumar Hiremath- medical superintendent- Justice K S Hegde Charitable Hospital, Dr Shrikanth Patil- deputy COE, Nithya Chethan - Officer- Legal and HR.
