Kundapur: Orientation programme held at MIT

Kundapur, Aug 10: An orientation programme was held for first year students in Moodlakatte Institute of Technology (MIT), Kundapur.

Hubballi based IT company Ampwork Private Limited managing director Anil M Prabhu was the Chief Guest. He said students of professional courses should develop new skills without giving importance only to marks.

Head of the department of Kannada in Bhandarkar’s College, Dr Rekha D Bannady resource person explained several situations to students and parents and said that students should shoulder sincerely the responsibilities of student life and reach their goal. “Parents should spend time with their children,” she suggested.

College principal Dr Katayya G S spoke about orientation programme and welcomed all the guests. All the heads of all the departments in the college were present. Student Rajatha Acharya compered the programme.
