Mangaluru: Tulu hit ‘Chaali Polilu’ director to direct Kannada film, play lead role

Mangaluru, Aug 12: Veerendra Shetty, who directed blockbuster Tulu movie 'Chaali Polilu' will make his debut in Sandalwood with Kannada film 'Savarna Dheerga Sandhi’.

Veerendra Shetty will be seen playing the lead role and also directing the film which will soon be released.

He was more inclined towards films and had worked as a journalist earlier. In 2014, Veerendra Shetty got an opportunity to direct Tulu film ‘Chaali Polilu’ which was a blockbuster running for 511 days in Mangaluru.

Actress Krushna will play the female lead opposite Veerendra Shetty in 'Savarna Dheerga Sandhi’.
