Mangaluru: St Agnes College reaches out to village students through community service

Mangaluru, Aug 14: The final year BCA students of St Agnes College (Autonomous) took up their project ‘Agnes Towards Community’, a community service unit of the college to teach basic computer skills to village students.

58 final year BCA students under the guidance of Sreevalli Shetty and Seementhini Fernandes, department of Computer Applications visited Ramakrishna Aided School, Harekala.



The students took their laptops to the school and taught MS Word software to the students of standard 9. 84 students benefited from the session. The students left from college at 8.00 am and returned at 3.00 pm. They were very happy with the experience gained through their service to community.
