Mangaluru, Aug 15: Agnesians took a trip down memory lane, celebrating their success and achievements at the ‘Agnesian Family Day’ held on Sunday August 11.

The fun-filled evening brought together alumnae from all corners of the world including their friends and family.

The programme began with a melodious rendition of song ‘Footsteps’ by the members of the alumnae association.

Sr Dr Jeswina AC, St Agnes College principal presided over the event. She expressed her gratitude for the selfless involvement of the alumnae in social service activities, especially motivating student achievers with scholarships and working continuously for a better future.

The college anthem 'God is our Strength' which is still dear to the alumnae and sung by all brought back nostalgic memories of their alma mater.

The formal inauguration was followed by a fun-filled evening of entertainment and games. Ramona, an alumna of the college, conducted the games and kept the mood of the event lively.

A dance performance by Jeswita and Wencita, as well as ‘line dance’ choreographed by Edith D’Souza received praises from the audience.

A game of housie was conducted, much to the delight of all present for the get-together.

The alumnae association vice president Geanette D’Souza proposed the vote of thanks. She thanked the president Sr Dr Jeswina AC and the entire executive alumnae team whose hard work and dedication made the event successful.

The event was compered by alumna Rajni Patrao who kept the audience engrossed with her lively anchoring. The programme ended with high tea and everyone left with a satisfying smile on their lips.
