Mumbai, Aug 16: Kannada Sangha, Santacruz celebrated Independence Day at their office at Vakola. President of the sangha, L V Ameen presided over the programme and hoisted the National flag.

The programme began after the National Anthem. Honorary chief secretary Sujatha R Shetty welcomed the gathering and compered the programme. Social and cultural committee secretary Laxmi N Kotian rendered the vote of thanks.
