Dubai, Aug 17: Dubai Criminal Court sentenced a 29-year-old woman from Ghana, for biting off a part of a friend’s lower lip.
The incident happened on April 14 this year. The victim, a 38-year-old man working as cleaner in the city, was taken to Rashid Hospital for treatment and the authorities later on reported the matter to the police.
The man told the court, “we had an argument when she suddenly attacked me. She bit me and then bit off part of my lip.”
As per reports, no reason for why the argument started was given in the court documents. The accused was told by the court that she could appeal against the sentence within 15 days.
