US-based I-Life Technologies appoints India head


New Delhi, Aug 19 (IANS): US-based electronics manufacturer I-Life Technologies Inc. on Monday announced the appointment of IIM-Calcutta alumnus Anshuman Rath as the Country Head-India.

Rath will be instrumental in integrating the company's focus on the Indian market by creating a robust position in the affordable technology segment, the company said in a statement.

"India has one of the youngest populations in the world and is highly receptive to new changes on the technology front. I am looking forward to tap this potential and bring affordable smart technology closer to the consumers", said Rath.

I-Life Digital plans to launch its new range of 'Zed' series laptops and all in one PCs in the affordable category segment.

The company has opened its Indian headquarters in Delhi and is looking to expand in the online channel space.

Founded in 2012, I-Life is a Miami-based leading hardware, software services company.

It is currently one of the largest mobility vendors in Middle East, Africa and CIS countries.

The brand's product portfolio has more than 60 models, ranging from featurephones, smartphones, tablet PCs, smartwatches etc.
