Vadodara, Aug 20: A Swiggy delivery man is under fire in Gujarat for getting caught with six beer cans in his Swiggy delivery bag. According to the delivery man, he was delivering the beer cans meant for a customer. The incident made news because Gujarat is a dry state.
The guilty man, identified as Rahulsingh Mahida, joined Swiggy seven months ago. Mahida has delivered beer earlier as well, but, this time around while delivering the beer he got caught. For the crime, Mahida was booked under various sections of the Gujarat Prohibition Act.

A Lakshmipura police station official asserted that they seized a motorcycle and a mobile phone worth Rs 47,600 from Mahida.
