Opposition in Bihar dares Giriraj Singh to capture PoK

Patna, Aug 20 (IANS): Opposition Congress and RJD leaders in Bihar have dared Union Minister Giriraj Singh to cross the LoC and capture Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK) instead of making only statements to mislead people.

Hours after Giriraj Singh on Tuesday posted a tweet about PoK "Jai Kashmir,Jai Bharat, Abki baar us paar" (now to go across), Congress spokesperson Premchand Mishra and RJD leader Vijay Prakash Yadav dared him to cross the Line of Control (LoC) and capture PoK.

"Giriraj Singh is only issuing statements these days on PoK to mislead people, if he has guts who is stopping him and the Central government to take a decision to cross the LoC and capture PoK," Premchand Mishra said here.

Mishra said that the Indian Army under the leadership of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi led-government reached Lahore and forced Pakistan to surrender over 90,000 army soldiers, and later helped create Bangladesh. But BJP leaders like Giriraj Singh are only talking and making statements to be in the news.

Mishra advised Singh to focus on his Ministry and do something to create some job opportunities.

RJD legislator Vijay Prakash Yadav said if Giriraj Singh has the guts he should cross the LoC to capture PoK instead of issuing mere statements. "Such things are not said in public as it is a strategic matter. But for Giriraj Singh it is an issue to get some space in the news."

Yadaav said Giriraj Singh should also say something about re-capturing the land forcibly occupied by China. "Why does Giriraj Singh only speak on PoK and remains silent on China. It is part of his politics to polarise".
