New Delhi, Aug 21: It is not very often that we hear an investigating agency is not able to find a senior political leader who was a four time Finance Minister, a one time Home Minister and a two time Minister of Personal, Public Grievances and Pensions.
P Chidambaram is on the run ever since the Delhi High Court rejected his anticipatory bail request in the INX Media. The Central Bureau of Investigation(CBI), on Tuesday, posted a notice outside Congress leader P Chidambaram's house, ordering him to appear before it 'within two hours'.

The notice says "Whereas it appears that you are acquainted with the facts and circumstances of the case noted below, which I am now investigating under Chapter 12 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, you are hereby directed to attend before me within two hours of the receipt of this notice for the purpose of investigation of the case."
Meanwhile the Congress party has called it a political vendetta. Communication in-charge of Congress party Randeep Singh Surjewala tweeted, ''India witnesses worst kind of virulent vendetta by Modi Govt as the BJP runs a police state. Judge reserves judgement for 7 months & delivers it 72 hours before retirement, CBI/ED are sent to raid as a respected former FM is hounded. Banana Republic?''
