New Delhi, Aug 21: Rahul Gandhi slammed the Modi government for misusing central agencies and section of media to 'character assassinate' former FM and senior Congress leader P Chidambaram.

Rahul tweeted 'Modi's Govt is using the ED, CBI and sections of a spineless media to character assassinate Mr Chidambaram. I strongly condemn this disgraceful misuse of power'.

In the meanwhile Chidambaram's plea seeking protection from arrest was not cleared by Supreme Court registry on account of being improperly filed.

    He is right, what all going now is all political vendetta. You can never see a scam has been investigated by this ED and CBI which related to BJP. If this BJP is really rastr bakth then conduct JPC on rafale, investigate vyapam and several other scams. Desh ka tho sathyanash kar Diya. Morning to evening ED,CBI only on opposition, and opposition leaders join BJP then they become clean.

    Same CBI under congress could not prove anything and given clean chit.

    Congress tried very hard to fix Amit Shah in trap.
