Mangaluru, Aug 22: Someshwara Devi and Nagadevaru, Arasu Dhoomavathi Banta Parivara Daivagala Sevasamith of DK zilla panchayat Youth Empowerment and Sports Department organized a programme 'Bale kesardonji Dina Gobbuga' at Kuthar on August 20.
Five volunteers from NSS units of St Agnes College participated in the programme.
The programme with a prayer.
K T Suvarna, president of Maatra Bhoomi Seva Prathistan inaugurated the programme.
The guests for the programme were Janardhan Gowda, president social justice committee, U T Khadar, MLA Mangaluru constituency.
The guests enlightened the audience by speaking on the topic 'Effect of outdoor games on our health and significance of such games on our daily life'.
After refreshments, many games like kabaddi, quiz, throwball, folk dance, relay, treasure hunt etc were conducted.
In the evening, prizes were distributed to the winners of the different competitions.
