Mangaluru, Aug 26: Krishnaa who is making her Kannada debut through Veerendra Shetty directorial ‘Savarna Dheerga Sandhi’ is proud and elated to work with the Mangalurean team.
Krishnaa, who hails from Udupi, is the daughter of renowned actor Ravi Bhat and niece of actress Vinaya Prasad, who acted in myriad serials and movies, before making her debut in Kannada film industry.
Krishnaa was into modeling and went on to do an advertisement for reliance trendz with Telugu star Rana Daggubatti. She was also a brand ambassador for Sri Ganesh Jewellers and Siri Vaibhava Gold Palace.

Speaking to Daijiworld, Krishnaa said, "My initial days were completely into sports. I always wanted to do something apart from college. My aunt Vinaya Prasad asked me to get in to modeling and that is when I took up modeling, attending all sorts of ramp shows, shoots, having no idea where it is going to lead.”
“Balancing college and modeling was a big deal. At the same time, I did not want to compromise on my modeling,” said Krishnaa.
Krishnaa further said, “Despite belonging to a family full of actors, I want to get some training in acting from outside. I was trained under Usha Bhandary, who took me under her wing and made me a confident person. Usha Bhanday was the one who recommended me for the audition of Savarna Dheerga Sandhi.”
When asked about her debut movie, Krishnaa said, "Savarna Dheerga Sandhi is a completely funny tale of a grammar-freak rowdy. I play a character called Amrutha Varshini, who is a modern girl belonging to a classy family. It revolves around how a modern girl falls for a freak rowdy.
When asked about expectations as she belongs to a family full of artistes, Krishnaa said, “As I belong to such a family there will be lot of curiosity about my performance. It is actually a good thing to have curiosity which will keep me on my toes, brushing on my skills and keep learning every day.”
“I hail from Udupi. I am elated and proud to work with the team of Savarna Dheerga Sandhi, where half the team belongs from Mangaluru,” said Krishnaa.
When asked about working with her father in her debut movie, Krishnaa said, “It was fun working with my father, in real life we played father and daughter role, which was easy for me to perform on screen. Our role was as exactly as how we are at home.”
When asked about future projects, Krishnaa said, “Lot of serial offers are coming from Kannada, Tamil and Telugu. I have passion towards movies and am looking forward for an opportunity from other industry.”
