Mangaluru: NSS unit of Milagres College serves flood-hit people

Mangaluru, Aug 26: The National Service Scheme and Youth Red Cross association volunteers rendered a small but remarkable service to the flood affected families of Mithabailu, Kukkavu Village, Belthangady Taluk on Sunday, August 25.

A group of 44 volunteers along with the NSS programme officer Denzil E Pinto, YRC director Joel Pereira and Mary Priscilla faculty member rendered a day’s service to the affected people.



The volunteers cleared the silt accumulated in and around the residences of Vishwanatha Gowda and Anantha Bhat. The volunteers cleared around 3 truckloads of silt.
