New Delhi, Aug 27: Prime Minister Imran Khan, on Monday, in his address to the nation, appealed the citizens of Pakistan to show solidarity and support to people of Kashmir by Standing-Up every Friday, between 12 to 12:30, wherever they are.
He said, "We should give Kashmiri people a message that we are with them. We will do an event every week, in schools, universities and offices. This Friday, from 12 to 12:30, you must stop work and stand with the public to tell the people that we are with Kashmiri people. Those who are at home, should also get on the streets, so that people should know we are standing with them."
Imran Khan said Prime Minister Narendra Modi had committed a historical blunder by abrogating Article 370. In his televised address to the nation Imran Khan said the whole Pakistani nation and its government would go to the last extent to support Kashmiris. "We will go to every extent ... will stand with the Kashmiris till the last breath." He went on to say that if India resorted to aggression, it would have far-reaching impacts on the entire world as the both countries possessed nuclear arms.
