Mangaluru: Science fest 'CRIZAL 2K19–Enlightening the world' organised at St Agnes College

Mangaluru, Aug 27: The Science departments of St Agnes College (Autonomous), organised an intra departmental Science fest 'CRIZAL 2K19–Enlightening the world' under the star college scheme on August 26.

The fest was inaugurated by chief guest Sr Dr M Carmel Rita AC, administrator, St Agnes College and Dr Sr Venissa AC was the guest of honour.

Reshal C Rodriges from final year BSc welcomed the gathering.

Sr M Carmel Rita addressed the gathering and unveiled the trophy.



Emima David, dean of Science, Mariola C Pinto, staff coordinator and all heads of the departments were present.

Melani, vice president of Science introduced the fest. There were 11 events conducted by different departments by the event heads under the guidance of the faculty members. The programme was compered by Heeral and the vote of thanks was proposed by Kavyashree of III BSc.

The fest concluded with a valedictory programme. Sr Dr M Jeswina AC, principal, St Agnes College, was the chief guest and Prof Saramma, HOD of Zoology department was the guest of honour. The students enthusiastically participated in all the events and the overall championship was bagged by II BSc Physical Science students while the runners up was shared between III BSc Physical Science and II BSc Life Science students.
