Wayanad, Aug 27: Rahul Gandhi visited his constituency Waynad on tuesday for the second time this month, to oversee relief operations in the district that saw large scale devastation caused by the recent rains and landslides.

"I’m in my parliamentary constituency, Wayanad, for the next few days, visiting flood relief camps and reviewing rehabilitation work in the area. Much has been accomplished, but there’s so much more that still needs to be done," Rahul tweeted.

Rahul will be in Waynad for 4 days. He visited the relief camp and assured the people staying there that he would once again urge the state government to provide all the necessary assistance to the affected people. Gandhi distributed relief materials to the people in the camps at Chungam and Valad and heard their woes.
