Security must to make India $5 trillion economy: Shah

New Delhi, Aug 28 (IANS): Home Minister Amit Shah on Wednesday stressed the importance of maintaining India's internal and external security to achieve Prime Minister Narendra Modi's goal of making the country a $5-trillion economy.

"Modiji wants to make India a $5-trillion economy and put it among the world's top three. But economic progress is not possible without securing the country. There is a need to maintain external security and law and order in the states," Shah said during the 49th Foundation Day celebrations of the Bureau of Police Research and Development (BPR&D).

He said over 34,000 personnel had sacrificed their lives to maintain law and order within the country lending credibility to the Police Force and urged policemen to carry forward the good work done by their colleagues.

    There is no second thought security is a must irrespective of India is $5 trillion or $1 trillion economy. India already achieved the security apparatus already well before 2014. So, now Govt., job is to retain or improve.

    We have seen our economy, it has gone reasonable to worse, while in 2014 the project was to improve but Modi govt., failed miserably and is responsible for the millions of job losses around the country.

    These days Media started putting out some reports indicating things are getting worse. Maybe they started to realize their jobs too as Anchors, reporters, editors too are at stake.

    .....Pakistan complained to UN and attached Congress leader Rahul gandhis statement ..from day one BJP was saying dont do negative politics on A370 which will have serious problem nationally/internationally..But neither Congress/communist or their some of pet media houses listen..now Rahul realised to some extent when his Name appeared in Paki UN complaint..and started to oppose Pakistan..but who will control Quint/ Print/ Wire/ The Hindu?
