Bantwal: Librarian’s Day held at Carmel College, Modankap

Bantwal, Aug 28: Carmel College, Modankap, celebrated Librarians’ Day birthDay of Padmashree Dr S R Ranganathan, the father of Library Science in India recently in the College auditorium.

Dr Sujatha H R, selection grade librarian and vice principal of the SVS College, Bantwal, was the chief guest. In her message she highlighted the significance of the day and encouraged the students to use the library to the maximum extent.

Principal of Carmel College Dr Sr Latha AC advised students to make good use of the library and thus enhance their knowledge. The teaching and non-teaching staff and all the students of the college were present.

Vineeth II BBA compered the programme, Nafeesa Safa III BCom welcomed the gathering and Ibrahim Mirfaz of I BCom proposed the vote of thanks.

Vice principal Florine menzes, librarian Chandrakala Rai, and student president Babitha were present.

The programme ended with the college anthem.
