Annual general body PTA meet held at St Philomena College Puttur

Puttur, Aug 29: The annual general body meeting of Parent Teacher Association of St Philomena College here was held on August 29 at the college auditorium.

The Deputy Superintendent of Police of Puttur Dinakara Shetty participated as chief guest. In his address, he spoke about the responsibility of parents in the overall development of children.

The correspondent Fr Alfred J Pinto delivered his presidential address.

The principal, Prof Leo Noronha delivered his introductory speech.

The secretary, Edwin D’Souza presented the annual report. Treasurer Premalatha K presented the statement of income and expenditure. The HoD of Commerce, Prof Maxim Carl conducted the election for various posts of the new office bearers.

The HoD of Mathematics Prof Udaya K presented the details of the parent-teacher-student interaction session.

Varija M and team presented a prayer song. The PTA president Antony Olivera welcomed the gathering. Assistant Professor of Business Administration Prashanth Rai proposed the vote of thanks. Associate Professor of Mathematics Prof Ganesh Bhat compered the programme.
