Mangaluru: St Agnes College students watch live telecast of Fit India Movement launched by PM

Mangaluru, Aug 30: The students of St Agnes College (Autonomous) witnessed the live telecast of the Fit India Movement Launch programme by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday, August 29, held at Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium, New Delhi at St Agnes College.

As many as 280 students watched the live telecast of the programme from 10.00 a.m. to 11.15 a.m. and also took the fitness pledge which was administered by the prime minister.

The students also were encouraged to walk 10,000 steps in the campus on the day and were advised to do the same on a daily basis. The students were inspired by the speech of prime minister.
