Mangaluru: Carmel School hosts career guidance programme

Mangaluru, Aug 31: A career guidance programme was organised for the students and parents of Carmel School on August 30 at the school auditorium.

The students of class IX, X and parents of class X were present for the session.

The inaugural programme began with a prayer dance. Sister Rose Agnes AC, administrator welcomed Shekhar Poojary, the president of Lions Club, Mangaluru, Varadaraj Baliga, secretary, Nancy Mascarenhas, treasurer of Lions Club.



Prof Ronald Pinto, was the resource person.

The guests were accorded a warm welcome with potted saplings.

Professor Ronald Pinto, in his edifying session enlightened the students with five stages of studying. He focused on the different techniques to face an examination successfully. He briefly explained the eligibilities to opt the right courses and to make appropriate career choices. The resource person then clarified the doubts of the students and parents.

Liffin compered the programme, Akshatha introduced the resource person, Zeena and Arpitha proposed the vote of thanks.
