Pak to call global conference on Kashmir

Islamabad, Sep 1 (IANS): Pakistan is planning to call an international conference on Kashmir, Minister for Law and Justice Barrister Farogh Naseem said on Saturday.

Talking to the media, Naseem said that law and international affairs experts and ambassadors would be invited to attend the conference.

"Legal opinions will be sought from the experts for the resolution of the dispute," he said, adding that the actual situation of Jammu and Kashmir would be outlined.

The conference would be held either in Islamabad or Azad Kashmir, he said.

Pakistan has been attempting to drum up international support over Kashmir ever since India revoked special status of the erstwhile state, which Islamabad has termed "illegal annexation".

    Also, they should call for Balochistan, Gilgit, and Baltistan!

    Pakistan has left with no option, they know they can not fight with India so barking is the only way left, even if they go intl. they know what is the outcome,

    just to keep the citizens fooled such dramas.

    Yeah Agree with you. Nobody is gonna come to Pakistan. BTW Pakis can try to organize that 'conference ' it in Kerala , they may have some attendees. Just last week end 25 students were booked in 'Gods Own Country 'Kerala for waving the Paki flag . They are heros as per Pak news paper 'Dawn'. Yes 100% literacy state.

    Yes, Just saw it. Pakis apparently are changing their slogan now. Instead of Kashmir Banega Pakistan that failed draw any takers world wide, they are are now shouting 'Kerala Banega Pakistan'.
