India facing defeat at every forum, claims Qureshi

Islamabad, Sep 2 (IANS): Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi on Monday claimed that India, despite its efforts to the contrary, is facing defeat at every forum regarding its actions in Kashmir.

Speaking on Geo Pakistan morning show, Qureshi pointed out how "India failed to convince the European Parliament's Committee on Foreign Affairs to leave out the Kashmir crisis from the meeting's agenda".

The European Parliament is scheduled to discuss the situation in Kashmir later on Monday during the meeting of the Foreign Affairs Committee. According to details, the Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Raja Farooq Haider Khan will represent Pakistan on the occasion.

Pakistan is also raising the Kashmir issue at the UN Human Rights Council after failing to get the UN Security Council to censure India on revoking special status for Kashmir.

"India could also not keep the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation silent on the Kashmir crisis. India failed to convince the world that Kashmir is its internal matter. India is being defeated at every forum (around the world)," Qureshi said.

He reiterated his call to the international community to play its role "to stop the atrocities being perpetrated by Indian authorities in occupied Kashmir".

The Minister said that the first meeting of the Kashmir cell, which has been set up at the Foreign Office, will be held on Tuesday.

Querishi is living in a fools paradise. His statements are just to fool the sentimental Pakis. Querishi is even mocked for his statements in Paki channels. From day 1 , Pak has been snubbed every where, including the OIC of all the places. Not even one country including their 'father' China has come forward condemning India. Its obvious that the world does not care about Kashmir . Economy , prosperity, investments , good way of life is the norm in the current world. Who wants to side a country that wants to fight? Soon Imran Khan may resign or be booted out . With the moolah he has garnered he may flee to London and settle there.

Referendum is the best solution, Let Kashmiris from both occupied territories decide their future under UN banner , whether they join Pakistan or India or a free country

Let there be referendum first in Baluchistan, Northwest frontier province, Tibet etc. It was Pakistani leaders who were responsible for two nation theory based on religion. If Kashmir goes out of India because of following a particular religion, India has every right to declare it a Hindu state. I urge India in that case to become a Hindu state as there are chances of plebiscite demand coming from Kerala , Assam etc,

So you mean to say we have to grant them their wish and then again have it funded in our tax money?
Even if we did, the issue is, they wont or let anyone live in peace . Their 'payback' is thru violence. US and European countries are regretting for accepting refugees from these countries. Every week there is something or other. Even Middle East shuns on these asian and do not consider them as real muslims.
