SAC to hold ‘Idea Conclave for Better Mangaluru’

Mangaluru, Sep 3: The National Service Scheme of St Aloysius College (Autonomous) along with Student for Development is organizing Idea Conclave for Better Mangaluru-2019 on September 5, from 9 am to 5 pm at Fr Robert Sequeira hall, LCRI block of the college.

The ICBM 2019 will be a thought provoking process for the sustainable Mangaluru transformation process. By sharing research findings, experiences and success stories from scientists, academicians, policy decision makers, environment activists, public intellectuals, NGO’s, youth, media and students etc, the conclave is expected to further research and it will also suggest action programmes to trap the potentials of urbanization and to address the issues and challenges.

In the morning there will be deliberation from various academicians and public intellectuals relating to the issues pertaining to Mangaluru followed by experiences of various environment activists, NGO’s and colleges in the activities relating to sustainable development. In the afternoon three competitions will he held for college students. Poster/Model presentation, short movie and street play.
