Shiv Sena asks centre to take Manmohan Singh’s advice seriously

Daijiworld Media Network - New Delhi (SR)

New Delhi, Sep 5: Backing former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on his comment about the Indian economy being in bad shape due to 'mismanagement' by the Narendra Modi-government, BJP’s ally Shiv Sena has asked the centre to listen to the advice as it is of ‘national interest’ and to take it seriously.

Shiv Sena expressed their opinion through an editorial in party mouthpiece Saamana. Sena asked the government to accept the former PM’s warning and not indulge in politics over the issue.

Last week, on September 1 Manmohan Singh said that all-round mismanagement by the Narendra Modi-led government was responsible for the slowdown in the economy. He also urged the government to set aside vendetta politics to save the economy.

Shiv Sena, in its mouthpiece Saamana said, “The reports about the Indian economy are worrying. Dr Manmohan Singh spoke about the economic slowdown and the difficult times that lie ahead in the future. One has to trust Manmohan Singh when he says that the economy is in doldrums and will collapse in future.”

This economical downturn is temporary. So far was going really well...its all due to weak global cues and dull consumer sentiments. That being said let's see other side ...., i.e business models are changing. People dont go restaurants but online ordering of food increased by 28%, people stopped buying cars but Ola Uber growth is outstanding!!! People are taking more accommodations on rent ...rather buying ...this is because expecting rate cuts in bank lending rates.., also HRA claims increased by 18% as per CMIE report. Coming to seeking Manmohan advise.., I dont think so that's required coz India witnessed worst recession in 2008-2009 and at that time ManMohan Singh did not do anything great....and all that happened in India was huge scams when entire India was suffering. Current crisis due to global macro factors. Sickulars will start Blabbering just for sake of blaming.
