Mangaluru: Talk on ‘Engineering the Future’ held at Expert College

Mangaluru, Sep 5: As part of the ongoing Edu-Path Lecture Series 2019, an exclusive talk for the II PUC students on the topic ‘Engineering the Future’ was conducted at the cultural centre of Expert Pre University College Valachil.

The resource person was Ankush N. Nayak, a research scholar of NITK Suratkal and Director, IT, Expert Group of Institutions, Mangaluru. Addressing the students he said, “Doctors save lives while it is the engineers who make our life worth living. Engineering offers challenging and wide range of job opportunities. Students must brace up themselves for the tough competition. The success is directly linked to the hard work and we will become a platform for your destination”. He presented a bird’s eye view of the major branches of engineering stream, employability status of engineering students in India and abroad.



The interactive session provided an opportunity to the inquisitive students put forth a number of questions pertaining to engineering field and receive convincing answers from the resource person.

Raghavendra Shenoy, vice principal and the programme director Santhosh Prabhu from the department of physics were present on the occasion. Manya R M Upadhyaya welcomed the gathering, anchored the programme and expressed the words of gratitude.
