Actor Nalneesh Neel happy to reunite with Sushant in 'Chhichhore'


Mumbai, Sep 7 (IANS): Actor Nalneesh Neel, who has earlier worked with Sushant Singh Rajput, got a chance to reunite with him in Nitesh Tiwari's "Chhichhore". Nalneesh plays a cook in the film.

Sharing little insight into his character Nalneesh said: "‘Chhichhore' is about students of an engineering college. My character is a cook named Pandu. The character has a comical twist because he helps Sushant's team win crucial games in the general sports competition of the college. There are many funny sequences involving Sushant's and my character. I really enjoyed working with him before, in ‘Shudh Desi Romance', too," shared the 31 years old actor.

"Chhichhore" also features Shraddha Kapoor, Varun Sharma, Prateik Babbar and Tahir Raj Bhasin.

He has been receiving positive response for his character of a cook in the film. "The audience will really connect with my role because it has many funny sequences. It's like a dream come true when you get praises for a small role."

Born and brought up in Uttar Pradesh, the actor has wporked in films such as "Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum" and worked with filmmakers like Raj Kumar Hirani in "Sanju" and Rahul Dholakia in "Raees". He has also appeared in "Fukrey Returns" and "Manikarnika". He also had a role in Nitesh Tiwari's earlier film, "Dangal".

"It was really great working with Nitesh sir, as he is a big director, I was quite nervous initially working with him. He is not only a great director but a great human being. He makes his actor comfortable and gives them space," said Nalneesh.

"Chhichhore" released on Friday.
