CAB to hold AGM on Sep 28

Kolkata, Sep 7 (IANS): The Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) on Saturday announced that it will hold its 85th annual general meeting on September 28, following the Committee of Administrators urging it to be pushed forward from its original date of October 1.

The Supreme Court-appointed COA on Friday made it clear that all the state associations have to finish their elections by September 28 since the notice for BCCI elections has to be issued 21 days prior to October 22.

Former India captain Sourav Ganguly will file his nomination for the president's post and is likely to be re-elected unopposed.
