Rahul, Priyanka take dig at Modi on 100 days in office

New Delhi, Sep 8 (IANS): Former Congress President Rahul Gandhi and Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi on Sunday took a dig at the economic performance of the Modi government after the completion of 100 days in office.

Rahul in a sarcastic way first congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi for completing 100 days and then launched a scathing attack on Modi for the economic slowdown the country is facing today.

In a tweet, Rahul Gandhi said: "Congratulations to the Modi Govt on #100DaysNoVikas, the continued subversion of democracy, a firmer stranglehold on a submissive media to drown out criticism and a glaring lack of leadership, direction & plans where it's needed the most - to turnaround our ravaged economy."

Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi also attacked Modi government and said that the government is still silent on the issue of economic slowdown and is hiding the truth from people through drama, deceit and lie.

In a tweet in Hindi, Priyanka said: "Government is sitting silent on economic slowdown. The buisness has been stalled as companies are in trouble. From drama, deceit, lie, and publicity they are hiding the critical condition of the country from people."

    No black money reached India from Swiss bank after 100 days in office as promised in 2014.
    No Rs 15 lakhs credited as promised in 2014.
    Jobless rate is 45 year low.
    Adverse effects of Demonetization on businesses, black money collected not disclosed .
    Added burden due to GST, businessmen are running losses and absconding.
    Failed and back firing on abrogation of article 370.
    Another fake promise after seeing the failure and more chaos as a result of abrogation of article 370 not to touch article 371.
    Failed ISRO Chandryana-2 and all other govt organisations like CBI, ED, EC, CJI, president, finance, defence, army due to appointment of 'Yes Boss' RSS incompetent heads.
    All election victories are due to tampered EVMs which are proven time and again
    Modi never attends parliament where he has to answer and clarify govt stand on all controversial issues, mob lynching, assault on minorities and on thier religious places, rape and murder cases of its ministers who are being hailed as heroes and garlanded and promoted etc etc.............
    List of BJP failed missions are endless without a single successful mission which BJP can boast about and continuing and counting!!!!!!???????...

    If congress had ruled right than bjp would be nowhere. Now congress playing opportunist card people not listening. Congress is a rotten house every one of oldies requires to be banished. Prince and Princess should be in background. Sonia Gandhi coterie demoted Manmohan singh the result is MODI MODI MODI.

    Congress is not used Dr Man Mohan Singh properly , he is very good economist but congress used him as puppet of Mrs Sonia. ..the result is Corruption corruption.
