Mangaluru, Sep 9: The department of Botany and Zoology of St Aloysius College (Autonomous), will organise a two-day national conference on 'Current Trends in Entomology and Plant-Insect Interaction' on September 11 and 12. The inauguration of the conference would be held in LF Rasquinha Hall in the college.
Fr Dr S Ignacimuthu, SJ, an emeritus scientist, former vice-chancellor of University of Madras and Bharathiar University; former principal, Loyola College, Chennai, will be the chief guest and deliver the keynote address.
Eminent scientists, Dr Giby Kuriakose, Dr Sinu P A, Dr Shamprasad Varija Raghu, Dr Vanitha K, and Dr Mahua Ghara will take various sessions.
During the programme, there will be paper presentations by researchers, faculty, and students from all over the country.
