Los Angeles, Sep 12 (IANS): Ahead of the final season of the popular show "Empire", actor Terrence Howard says he is done with acting.
"I'm done with acting. I'm done pretending," said Howard, in an interview with "Extra".
The actor also opened up about his plans following the end of the show, and why is he bored of acting, reports "people.com".
Is philanthropy on Howard's mind? "No, not philanthropy," he replied, adding: "I'm just focusing on bringing truth to the world."
"Empire", the musical drama, will conclude after season six.
Howard's announcement comes months after he was reportedly being investigated for criminal tax evasion.
According to court documents, the federal government is interested in possible financial crimes allegedly committed by the actor, his third wife Mira Pak and Universal Bridges Inc., a company reportedly owned by Pak.
