Mangaluru: Hindi Divas celebrated at St Agnes College

Mangaluru, Sep 13: The department of Hindi, St Agnes College (Autonomous) celebrated Hindi Divas on Thursday, September 12, commemorating the national language of the country.

Dr Shivaram P, vice principal, Government First Grade College, Carstreet, Mangaluru was the chief guest for the programme. The programme commenced with a prayer song. Dr R Nagesh, head of the department of Hindi welcomed the gathering. Sr Dr Jeswina A C, principal St Agnes College (Autonomous), addressed the gathering and told the importance of Hindi as a language.The chief guest in his speech apprised the gathering about the beauty and the significance of Hindi language.



Various competitions like Shayari telling, Photography, Collage and Handwriting were organized by the Hindi department during the Hindi Divas week. And the students were felicitated during this programme. Preethi P S compered the programme and Prajna rendered the votes of thanks.
