Satish Poonia new BJP chief for Rajasthan

Jaipur, Sep 14 (IANS): BJP MLA from Amer Satish Poonia on Saturday was named the state party president for Rajasthan.

A letter signed by National General Secretary Arun Singh confirmed that BJP chief Amit Shah has appointed Poonia for the state's top party post.

The appointment shall be implemented immediately.

The post of Rajasthan BJP president was lying vacant since the death of Madanlal Saini in June.
