Mangaluru: St Agnes College Microbiology dept conducts blood typing at Government School Balmatta

Mangaluru, Sep 20: The department of Microbiology, St Agnes College (autonomous) in association with the NSS unit of Government First Grade College for Women, Balmatta, here, organized a blood typing programme as an extension activity for the students of Government School, Balmatta, here.


11 students of St Agnes College (final MZC class) under the guidance of Vidya Patali volunteered and performed blood typing for 44 school Students of Government School, Balmatta.



The objective of the programme was to check the blood group of the school students to enter the details in their identity card and to create awareness about the significance of blood and blood groups.
