New York, Sep 21 (IANS): Amazon founder and CEO Jeff Bezos's girlfriend Lauren Sanchez looks stunning in newly-unearthed bikini photos from her late teens.

American actress Sanchez competed in the Miss Hawaiian Tropic beauty contest in the late 1980s in her hometown of Albuquerque, New Mexico, reports dailymail.co.uk.

"The photos were taken in either 1988 or 1989," the report quoted a former organizer of the swimsuit competition.

"She won the local competition, which is why she is standing middle in that photo and revealed that she was about 18 or 19 years old at the time," the organiser added.

According to the source the girlfriend of the world's richest man paraded on the stage at a venue called Club Rio in front of an audience of "about 200-400 people" for the pageant.

Recently, Bezos and Sanchez were spotted enjoying a boat trip while vacationing together in Venice.

Sanchez was wearing a white, linen dress while Bezos was wearing a pair of salmon hued shorts with a lightweight, mauve short-sleeve shirt.

Additionally, the couple were seen spending some quality time in the 'City of Canals', in north-east Italy. They were on a romantic stroll and also seen canoodling aboard a luxury yacht among billionaire friends, a report by the Daily Mail said.
