Man threatens to jump off 10th floor of Delhi hotel


New Delhi, Sep 22 (IANS): A man on Sunday climbed to the 10th floor of a hotel in west Delhi and threatened to commit suicide by jumping off.

"The man has been attempting to jump off the building of the Signature Hotel. We reached the spot on getting the information. We have deployed tall ladders to get to him," a fire brigade official said.

Police also reached the spot and have repeatedly tried to convince the man to come down but to no avail. The police and fire brigade are working out other ways to reach him so that he can be safely brought down.
