SC pulls up Kerala govt on Maradu flats demolition

New Delhi, Sep 23 (IANS): The Supreme Court on Monday pulled up the Kerala government over inaction on the Maradu flats demolition row, saying it will not hesitate to prosecute officers for culpable homicide for loss of life.

The top court cited the loss of lives in the recent floods in the state, and said it was happening because the government has failed to act against illegal structures.
