Mangaluru: NSS Foundation day celebrated at Milagres College

Mangaluru, Sep 24: National Service Scheme foundation day was celebrated on Tuesday, September 24 in the college auditorium.

Prof Lourdusamy, academic advisor Milagres College was the president of the programme. He shared experience of NSS programme officer and instructed them to give priority for the welfare of the nation taking it in account specially the underprivileged of the society.

Cassin Rodrigues, vice principal administer the pledge on anti-drug and tobacco to the volunteers. The main objective of the program was to encourage the volunteers to participate in social welfare activities and to educate them about the negative impact of consuming tobacco.



Denzil E Pinto, NSS programme officer, welcome the gathering, Premal Lavisha, NSS volunteer proposed the vote of thanks. The programme compeered by Renita Crasta, NSS joint secretary. Total of 72 volunteers actively participated in the programme.
